Why did I visit there?

I was familiar with this intersection through television, but I had come to Shibuya to visit a certain well-reviewed café, not to see this crossing in the first place.

As I exited the ticket gate at Shibuya Station, I was immediately greeted by a sprawling intersection in view. It was shortly after the morning rush hour for commuters and students, but there were still plenty of people bustling about. The area in front of the station was bustling with students, office workers, tourists, TV crews, and YouTubers, creating a lively atmosphere. And there, overlooking the crowd, was the iconic Hachiko Statue, a beloved tourist attraction, seemingly watching over them with a gentle presence.

On the other hand, unfortunately, some people took photos and videos in the middle of the intersection. Even though the traffic lights are green, this is a hazardous behaviour in this place where many people and cars gather, so please be careful when you visit.
